Interested in going to China

The rata brings elections

Today is the first day of the year in the lunar calendar. Chinese have 12 animals and each year correspond with one of them. This new years just started is the year of the mouse and it seems that will bring several elections in different parts of the world.

It is impressive the budget differences you can find from different candidates. Today I saw that Hillary Clinton just donated 5 Million Dollar to her own campaign. On the other hand, a good friend just told me that is going to go to the next general Spanish elections next March 2008. In this second case, the total budget was 1.500 Eur.

In Italy will also go next April to vote. A colleague from Italy told me the other day that he was going to Italy to vote. Apparently, it is not possible to vote by post, but they can get very good transports discounts. He also told me that it is not allowed to bring an envelop prepared from home, you have to fill in secretly your own selection. On the last elections mobiles phones with camara were not allowed when voting because on previous elections this was the system used by some people who wanted to have a proof of his/her vote.

I am enjoying a week holiday due to the Chinese New Year, although today I was a bit hang over from last night party.
